Daniel R. Bourque, MD
Dr. Daniel Bourque is a native of Lafayette, Louisiana. He graduated from USL then completed his medical school education at LSU in New Orleans. His post-graduate training was performed at Tulane in pediatrics, followed by residency training at LSU-Charity Hospital in Obstetrics and Gynecology. He entered private practice in 1985.
Dr. Bourque has extensive experience in routine and high risk Obstetric care. His practice is baby friendly and he promotes skin to skin bonding and breastfeeding to his patients.
Dr. Bourque is also skilled and experienced in all areas of Gynecology. He was the first gynecologist to utilize the da Vinci robotic technology in Lafayette. This along with years of experience in minimally invasive Laparoscopic surgery motivated him to have his practice and LGMC recognized as Centers of Excellence in minimally invasive surgery.
Over the years, Dr. Bourque has had the good fortune of developing lasting relationships with his patients as a trusted healthcare provider. Jennifer B. Pugliese, MD
Jennifer Breaux Pugliese, MD is a native of Lafayette. She and her husband, Craig, have four children: Lila, Clara, Luca and Ellis. Dr. Pugliese enjoys the privilege of raising her family and practicing medicine where she was also born and raised. She comes from a family of Lafayette physicians including her grandfather, father and brother.
Dr. Pugliese graduated from St. Thomas More High School in 1995. She received her undergraduate education at LSU in Baton Rouge where she graduated in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology. She then earned her medical doctorate in 2005 from LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans.
Dr. Pugliese completed her OB-GYN training at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC, where she earned the “E. Daniel Griffin, JR, MD Award” for surgical excellence. During her training she obtained broad exposure in obstetrical care ranging from routine to high risk. She also gained comprehensive training in gynecological care including diagnosis and management of a wide range of conditions. Additionally, she is extensively trained in minimally invasive procedures, including laparoscopic and robotic surgery. She has been board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology since 2011.
She currently serves as the Chairperson of the Women’s Services Department at Lafayette General Medical Center.
Her patients range from early adolescents to post-menopausal women, and she has the expertise to care for a wide range of both obstetrical and gynecological conditions. She and her staff strive to provide each patient with the time and individual attention that she needs at each and every encounter. This has allowed her to develop very close relationships with her patients who entrust their care to her.
Dr. Nicole P. Harper, MD
Dr. Harper is a native to South Louisiana, growing up in Baton Rouge with ties to Acadiana. She and her husband, Guy, have two daughters, Cappel and Evans. They enjoy spending time outdoors, exercising and trying new restaurants.

Jordan M. Forsthoff, WHNP
Jordan Marcus Forsthoff was born and raised in Lafayette, LA. She graduated from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge with a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology. She has a Master’s Degree in Nursing from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN in both Women’s Health and Adult Health Care.
Jordan has been a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner since 2007. She is board certified by the National Certification Corporation as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner and licensed by the Louisiana State Board of Nursing. She enjoys connecting, educating, and helping women throughout their adult lifespan. She believes in providing compassionate care to women of all ages.
Jordan resides in Lafayette with her husband and daughter. She spends most of her free time with her family, but when she can she loves to read and travel. Jordan is an active member in her church and community.
Aundria H. Cannon, WHNP
Aundria Cannon is a nationally certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) who received her Masters of Science degree from the University of South Alabama in 2015. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from the University of Louisiana, Lafayette in 1998. She is a native of Lafayette and a graduate of St. Thomas Moore High School class of 1993. She is married to Marty Cannon, and they have 3 boys; Cameron, Wade and Brandon.
Aundria has spent most of her career as a Registered Nurse (RN) working in Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, and Mother Baby care units. She also worked in the role of Nursing Educator, Childbirth Educator, Perinatal Bereavement Coordinator, and Nursing Supervisor at Lafayette General Medical Center. The last four years she has worked as a RN in the OBGYN offices of Dr. Bourque, Pugliese and Harper while pursuing her advanced degree as a WHNP. Her clinical experiences have ranged from well woman visits to obstetrical care of the woman. Aundria has always had a passion for patient education and loves that she can incorporate this into the care of each individual patient in the office setting.
Aundria is an active board member of Maddie’s Footprints, a local non- profit organization whose mission is to provide resources for families who have experienced the loss of an infant.
